Season One of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War continues to receive new content, including a new and intense Zombies mode.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s first season of content was already massive when it launched and it’s only going to get even bigger.
Following the most recent patch, which changed up the available playlists and fixed some bugs, a mid-season update will be dropping on January 14, which will add a new Zombies mode and more multiplayer content.
The new mode, called Cranked, works similarly to the mode of the same name that first appeared in Call Of Duty: Ghosts, though this marks the first time it’s been incorporated with Zombies.
In Cranked, every zombie killed resets a timer that is constantly ticking down. If you allow the timer to hit zero, you instantly die.
Developer Treyarch also confirms that the PlayStation exclusive Onslaught mode will get an additional map called Raid and new Dark Aether intel to collect.

As for the multiplayer, the Fireteam mode will be receiving a new map called Sanitorium and there will be a new 6v6 mode called Dropkick, where players must fight over possession of nuclear codes.
More concrete details about the new additions will likely be shared on the day of release.
In the meantime, you can check out the full list of updates that are now live in both Cold War and Call Of Duty: Warzone on the official website.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
