CRISTIANO Ronaldo’s big sister has called the Manchester United striker “the most beautiful human being” she’s ever known after the shock moment he slapped an iPhone out of an autistic teenager’s hand.
Elma Aveiro took to social media to mount a staunch defence of the footballer and insist he “doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone” at this stage of his career.

She added, posting her comments following Ronaldo’s apology for his outburst at the end of his club’s 1-0 defeat to Everton: “You give the answer afterwards to shut everyone up.”
It was not immediately clear if her remarks were a reaction to the furore surrounding Cristiano’s actions on Saturday as he walked off the pitch at Goodison Park, or the negative comments about his current form.
Elma, who still lives on the footballer’s native island of Madeira and has a habit of sticking up for him along with his other sister Katia and their mum Dolores, wrote on her Instagram alongside a selfie photo of them: “My great and perfect love.
“The most beautiful human being I’ve known in the world.
“All my family are an example of love and respect. A light that only bothers those who live in darkness.”
Pointing the finger at people she accused of feeling like they had to talk about others because their own lives were “sad”, she added: “My dear brother, you don’t have to prove anything to anyone and you give the answer afterwards to shut everyone up.
“I love you a lot. The rest is the rest.”
Dad-of-four Cristiano worked up a sweat in the sauna on Monday as he tried to put Saturday’s unsavoury incident behind him.
He issued an apology on his Instagram hours after it happened, saying: “It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing.
“Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game.
“I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship.”
Sarah Kelly, mother of the boy whose phone was damaged, accused the footballer of leaving the 14-year-old’s hand bruised.
She told the Liverpool Echo her son, who is autistic and has dyspraxia, has been left in “complete shock” and has been put off going to matches.
Sarah said: “I was crying, I was shook up, Jacob was in complete shock – he’s autistic and he’s got dyspraxia as well, so he didn’t really digest what was happening until he’s come home now.

“He’s really upset about it and it’s completely put him off going to the game again.
“This is the first football game he’s been to and this has happened.”
Merseyside Police have said in a statement they are investigating the incident.
Man United bosses have said they are no longer investigating.
After a fabulous start to the season, Cristiano’s form and goalscoring record has been the subject of growing criticism.
He is now facing his first trophyless season in over a decade following his club’s Champions League exit.
Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique hit out at Cristiano over the phone incident and wrote in an Instagram Story: “I always said it.
“Don’t like him. He believes [he] is God and can do whatever he wants.”
