Carney made her feedback after Leeds’ 5-0 win at West Brom and the Elland Road social media team mocked the Amazon pundit on their Twitter account in reply.
Leeds’ trolling fuelled hundreds of abusive remarks at Carney — and though Radrizzani branded her “disrespectful”, the red-faced Italian made a U-turn final evening.

He mentioned: “I’m very sorry Karen was abused on social media. I needed to defend my membership and our gamers from a remark, which I felt was harsh from Karen on air.
“Our tweet wasn’t offensive — merely stating that we received the league by 10 factors.”
Leeds had earlier condemned the abuse that Carney had acquired.
A membership spokesperson mentioned: “Leeds United fully condemns any abuse acquired by Karen Carney on social media following final evening’s Premier League recreation with West Bromwich Albion.
