CHELSEA have suffered a transfer blow after it emerged target David Alaba has reportedly agreed a four-year deal with Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old’s contract with Bayern Munich expires in June and he has rejected the Bundesliga side’s offer to extend it.

Chelsea were confident they could lure Alaba to London after making Thomas Tuchel their new manager.
And the Blues were given a boost by Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge last week when he insisted he knew nothing of how advanced negotiations between the Austrian and Madrid were.
And the versatile star has reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement to move there this summer on a deal until 2025.
Rummenigge previously said: “I don’t know to what extent the negotiations with Real Madrid have advanced, all I know is that they’re a great club.
“It does not matter they are living in a difficult time and have not been as successful years as they used to, it is a great club and you have to understand the player.
“Nothing has been decided to date, but the chances of him leaving are around 99.9 per cent.
“He has made the decision to try something new. I would be excited if we would say goodbye to him with many titles when the season is over.”

Chelsea are now expected to switch their attention to beating Bayern and Liverpool to capture RB Leipzig’s in-demand defender Dayot Upamecano.
The Blues have been long-term admirers of the 22-year-old, who will be available in the summer for £38million due to a release clause in his contract.
Upamecano’s agent confirmed that two Premier League clubs were interested in him.
And Rummenigge, who also wants to sign him, identified them as Chelsea and Liverpool.
