Good morning Arsenal fans
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been filmed claiming Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta can’t handle “big characters and big players”.
Arteta stripped the striker of the Gunners’ captaincy last December and axed him before Aubameyang joined Barcelona and now Chelsea.
And the Gabon hero’s new comments could inflame Arteta’s allegation of a “catalogue of misdemeanors”.
Aubameyang is seen relaxing on a sofa as he tells another man about Arteta: “Big characters and big players…he can’t deal with it.
“He needs some young players who don’t say anything. They listen.”
Mikel Arteta’s call to play Japanese defender Tomiyasu at left-back was a masterstroke.
Not only did he nullify Salah, he gave Martinelli the freedom to concentrate on attacking Alexander-Arnold.
After the match, Arteta told the press on Tomiyasu’s peformance: “(It was) Very good. That’s what we hoped he would do and he did that.
“To think about doing that against Salah and actually doing it is a different story. Especially after playing on Thursday and what he’s been through in the past few weeks.”
Brazilian legend Gilberto Silva has said his bit on Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Liverpool.
He tweeted: “A fantastic 3 points today, Liverpool were a good test for our boys. There is something special about this team. What are your thoughts @Arsenal fans?
Sun columnist Piers Morgan has long been a critic of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
However, it appears he’s now finally been won over.
In a hilarious message on Twitter, he’s penned the following: “[email protected] – I hereby formally declare trust in your process. You’ve built a thrilling team full of energy, pace, power, commitment and ferocious will-to-win. Love the way we play & our attitude. I had my doubts about you – but not any more. Keep pounding.”
