The Jeremy Kyle Show was a staple daytime ITV programme for 14 years.
But the series was axed on the network in 2019 after guest Steve Dymond took his own life aged 63.
Dymond had ‘failed’ a lie detector test on the show just a number of days before his death. The episode was never broadcast.
While Jeremy fronted the series, he was often joined by Graham Stanier, the on-air counsellor.
Here’s everything you need to know about Graham and what he’s been up to since the Jeremy Kyle Show was axed.
Who was The Jeremy Kyle Show’s Graham and where is he now?
Graham served as the director of aftercare on The Jeremy Kyle Show.
He advised guests on a range of issues, including addiction and breakdowns of relationships, and worked with them backstage.
Speaking to The Observer in 2007, Graham enthused: ‘I’m immensely proud of the work we do. We have had full shows of people coming back on the programme who have been successful in overcoming drug, alcohol or relationship problems, through the care that we have provided for them.’
Graham has remained in contact with Jeremy following the demise of The Jeremy Kyle Show.
The pair reunited seven months after the programme was axed and celebrated Christmas together in 2019.
Graham also attended Jeremy’s wedding to Vicky Burton in October 2021. He marked their big day on Instagram, sharing a snap of the bride and groom leaving the church.
Throughout lockdown, Graham worked as an NHS volunteer responder donating 701 hours of his time.
Posting a photo of himself in a hi-vis jacket, he penned: ‘Supporting people in the community during lockdown. Getting involved.’
It is believed that Graham is working as a consultant psychotherapist.
Jeremy Kyle: Death On Daytime airs Sunday at Monday at 9pm on Channel 4.
