Ulrika Jonsson has revealed why she prefers dating younger men, and it’s because most of them don’t really know who she is.
During Wednesday’s edition of Loose Women, Ulrika teased what viewers can expect to see in the upcoming episodes of Celebs Go Dating to presenters Janet Street-Porter, Katie Piper, Jane Moore, and Christine Lampard.
The star recently said she had her sights set on a young suitor when she signed up for the annual dating series, but Janet was curious to know ‘how old’ the biggest age gap was.
‘I guess the youngest was 26,’ she replied. ‘So yeah 26, 30 ish.’
‘The nice thing a few times was that they didn’t know that I was Ulrika Jonsson, which was great.
‘That was always the dream is to have somebody take you for who you are, rather than what you are and what they might know about you.

‘So I found that really refreshing, but you’ve got to have some conversation as well right, which doesn’t always happen’, she joked.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: ‘Yeah, it’s about the maturity of the person so I’ve kind of given them a little free rein in that department!
‘I guess I’ve been slightly cautious of dating men my age because, from my experience, they seem to come across as pretty f***ing dull.’
‘I don’t want dull anymore, I want to have fun,’ she added.
E4’s Celebs Go Dating will be making its annual return to the screen on January 17, and will see singletons Five star Abz Love, Chloe Brockett from The Only Way Is Essex, Made in Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire, and Apprentice star Ryan-Mark Parsons.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and Celebs Go Dating returns on Monday January 17 at 9:00pm on E4.
