The Walking Dead director Rosemary Rodriguez has teased Rick Grimes’ potential return.
Rodriguez, who has labored on the present since season seven, was requested what she was most trying ahead to in 2021 on the AMC drama’s Twitter web page. She responded: “Discovering Rick Grimes on the massive display!”
She later backtracked, including: “That’s simply my hope and dream… I’m expressing my hopes for 2021!”
Regardless of her preliminary remark, Grimes’ return in 2021 does appear somewhat hopeful, after Andrew Lincoln just lately said he was hoping to reprise his role in a trilogy of films when shooting starts next spring, earlier this month.

The actor, who left the AMC present after season 9, added: “It does really feel like there’s a sure sense of positivity and the cavalry’s coming with the vaccines. And there’s an actual type of sense of a renewal, hopefully.”
He also said earlier this year that the team is still “working on it” they usually have but to enter manufacturing.
Showrunners additionally beforehand confirmed that season 11 would be the last of the show, set to air in two parts between 2021 and 2022.
Six bonus episodes of season 10 may even be launched within the new 12 months, with a synopsis of the brand new episodes revealing that “we discover our survivors attempting to choose themselves up by their bootstraps following the destruction the Whisperers left of their wake.”
