Manufacturing on the Ellen Present has been delayed as a consequence of a Coronavirus spike in Los Angeles, it has been confirmed.
The programme has introduced that the present is taking an additional enforced break, that means new episodes will now come per week later than anticipated – on January 11.
The present launched an announcement [via Deadline] saying: ‘As a result of COVID-19 surge in Los Angeles County, and for the continued security of our workers and crew, The Ellen DeGeneres Present will push manufacturing by per week.’
It comes after Ellen tested positive for Covid-19 on December 10. The presenter introduced the information by saying that she was ‘feeling nice’ and that the manufacturing was being halted.
The comic assured followers by giving a well being replace on social media, saying: ‘Hello Everybody, I need to allow you to all know that I examined optimistic for Covid-19.
‘Fortuitously, I’m feeling nice proper now. Anybody who has been in shut contact with me has been notified, and I’m following all correct CDC pointers.’

The manufacturing delay follows a difficult yr for the present. A number of former workers claimed senior producers mistreated other workers behind the scenes, accusing them of rampant sexual assault and harassment
Ellen later responded in an announcement, saying she ‘takes full accountability’ and added: ‘I take that very critically and I need to say I’m so sorry to the individuals who had been affected.
‘I do know that I’m ready of privilege and energy and I spotted that with that comes accountability, and I take accountability for what occurs at my present.’
Some viewers had been later left unimpressed when she joked about the allegations upon her return to the present.
