The Bachelorette’s Clare Crawley will need to take things slower in future relationships after jumping into a whirlwind romance with Dale Moss, a relationship expert has said.
She explained to Metro.co.uk: ‘More times than not, couples will experience lust within the first weeks of a relationship and confuse it for love.’
The love guru added that Clare might have fallen so fast because she had a clear idea of what she’s looking for as she added: ‘However, there are some people that know what they want in a partner and fall in love as soon as they find someone that checks all their boxes.

‘Part of this reason could be experience. A single may have been on may dates and have had previous partners that showed them exactly what they like and don’t like in a partner.’
Dale, 32, was the one who confirmed the news of the former couple’s split, leading many Bachelor fans to believe he called time on the romance.
As for whether the TV personality was simply letting lust rule his thoughts on the show, Maria continued: ‘I believe Dale proposed because he thought he was in love with Claire. When thrown into a situation like theirs, feelings and emotions are heightened.
‘Dale probably had every intention of marrying Clare and spending the rest of his life with her, but unfortunately sometimes reality hits and things don’t go as planned.’

The pair’s failed relationship now leaves Clare back on the hunt to find a life partner, and Maria advised that the reality star to try a different approach on her mission.
The dating expert stated: ‘Feelings are complicated and not falling headfirst in love is a lot easier said than done. However, it will benefit Clare to take things slower in her future relationships.
‘Love and finding someone you connect with is a beautiful thing. There is no reason to rush into anything too fast.’
She continued: ‘Additionally, sometimes lust and attraction can be so powerful that a person thinks it is more.
‘However, really taking time to connect with someone emotionally and get to know their personality will help to figure out if you are really in love or just in lust.’
Fingers crossed Clare will be able to find her perfect guy soon.
The Bachelor airs Monday on ABC in the US, and is available to stream on hayu in the UK.
