If you got hooked on Squid Game you will love Alice in Borderland (Picture: Netflix)
Squid Game has won over the internet in recent weeks.
This drama series from South Korea was only released on Netflix in mid-September but it’s already on track to become the biggest show in the streaming giant’s history.
Fans have been loving the dystopian setting and its unpredictable twists and turns.
The only thing they haven’t been loving is that the drama only has nine episodes.
But if you have already binged the entirety of Squid Game and are looking for something to fill that void in your life, other viewers of the show are turning to Alice in Borderland.
Set in Japan, Alice in Borderland was released on Netflix last year and of J-dramas and dystopia have been flocking to it.

While Squid Game is about 456 debt-ridden citizens pitted against each other to fight for their survival in a series of children’s games, Alice in Borderland focuses on three friends.
Video-game obsessed Arisu and his pals Chōta and Karube discover that everyone in Tokyo seems to have disappeared.
On a billboard, they see a message that invites them to enter a game arena where they will have to work together against other players.
But they soon discover what’s on the line are their lives.

If you have seen even just the trailer for Squid Game, this premise should sound even a little familiar.
One thing viewers should know before jumping head first into Alice in Borderland is that it is violent – like really violent.
But it has very similar emotional beats and big twists like Squid Game, so if that’s what you are after, you will certainly not be disappointed.
And, on top of it all, Alice in Borderland was renewed for a second season only two weeks after it dropped, unlike Squid Game on which Netflix is still keeping quiet.
Squid Game and Alice In Borderland are available to stream on Netflix.
