Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez has been forged as KFC founder Colonel Sanders in a brand new movie.
The actor, who performed A.C Slater within the hit ’90s comedy, stars as businessman Harland Sanders in A Recipe for Seduction, an authentic movie for Lifetime.
Lifetime shared the information through their social channels on Monday (December 7), alongside a trailer for the movie. Test it out right here:
A synopsis for A Recipe for Seduction reads: “As the vacations draw close to, a younger heiress contends with the affections of a suitor handpicked by her mom. When the good-looking chef, Harland Sanders, arrives together with his secret fried hen recipe and a dream, he units in movement a collection of occasions that unravels the mom’s devious plans.
“Will our plucky heiress escape to her wintry fortunately ever after with Harland at her facet, or will she cave to the calls for of household and obligation?”
In a press release concerning the movie, KFC promised followers “thriller, suspense, deception, ‘fowl’ play and—on the coronary heart of all of it—love and fried hen”.

Elsewhere, a Saved By the Bell reboot was released on US streaming platform Peacock last month (November 25), starring Lopez alongside many different authentic stars in addition to newcomers.
