Piers Morgan has hinted that the next stage of his career will be something ‘bigger’ than his old stomping ground Good Morning Britain.
The 56-year-old has played coy over what he plans on doing next, but in an interview with The Sun hinted that wherever he goes next will be a step up.
‘Have patience, it won’t be long. It’s a lot bigger than GMB,’ he said.
‘It’s not fighting talk, it’s just a lot bigger. You’ll see soon.’
He also joked he might be ‘auditioning for new wives’ in reference to his former telly partner Susanna Reid.

The TV star called it ‘a resounding victory for free speech’ and asked for his old job back.
However a return for Piers was ruled out by his former co-host Susanna Reid, and from the sounds of it he won’t need it.
The presenter has said the job offers have ‘increased’ since the ruling and on Thursday dropped yet another ‘tick tock’ teaser on Twitter, which he has started posting periodically since his dramatic exit.
His comments come as he picked up a Tric award for news presenter at a star-studded bash in London on Wednesday.
On Thursday’s Good Morning Britain Susanna gave her former co-star an on air shout out for an ‘exhilarating’ five years working together.
She said: ‘It was an absolutely lovely moment yesterday where he said it was team work that made the dream work, and invited me up on stage. But it’s down to you.
‘No one has held politicians to account in a more rigorous way than you did, Piers, during the pandemic. Congratulations, very well deserved.’
