A new trailer for Impeachment: American Crime Story has dropped, giving a glimpse at the infamous affair between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.
The clip, released on Friday, features actor Clive Owen, 56, as the former President of the United States and Beanie Feldstein, 28, as one-time White House intern Lewinsky.
The show documents the tryst between the pair, which led to the president’s impeachment.
She says: ‘I have to admit, you’re a knockout. You must be dating some big D.C. player.
‘I mean, the ratio in this town is pretty favourable. Tell me about him.’

Lewinsky understatedly blushes: ‘Someone from work. Someone important.’
However, in another scene, Linda says to a colleague: ‘I have found myself in possession of some very sensitive information.
‘Information of national importance that’s beyond imagining.’
She replies: ‘Are you sure you have enough evidence?’

Linda then plays a tape featuring conversations she had with Monica about her relationship with the 42nd President of the United States.
The civil servant is then seen as she begins to leak the information, yelling on the phone: ‘Monica can never find out.’
The promo ends with the phone ringing in Lewinsky’s home, with her answering it: ‘Hi handsome,’ to which the leader of the free world answers: ‘Hey.’
Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives in December 1998 on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice after he tried to cover up the affair.
The Senate voted three months later in February of 1999 to acquit him of the charges which allowed him to serve out the remainder of his second term.
Impeachment: American Crime Story premieres on FX on September 7.
