Wendy Williams made a rare public appearance at a Met Gala 2022 party after keeping a low profile for the last few months.
The 57-year-old announced that she would be taking time out from her eponymous Wendy Williams show last September due to health issues.
It was recently confirmed that Sherri Shepherd – who has been fronting the presenter’s series in her place – would be inheriting her time slot.
However, Wendy has now vowed to return to our screens as she hit the town in New York, for an after-party.
She was spotted heading out with blogger Jason Lee, looking incredible in a colorful tiered gown and bag, which appeared to be embossed with dollar signs.
The star completed the look with a pair of trainers which matched some of the colors of her gown.

Speaking to TMZ while out and about in the city, Wendy insisted that she would be back on our screens very soon.
When asked if she would be making a return, she told the outlet: ‘Of course! The Wendy Williams show lives forever!’
Questioned on whether she will be working again in September, she simply added ‘yes’, but offered no further details on what this will entail or what fans can expect.
Wendy took a break from the spotlight after her illness last September, with a string of stars on hand to step into her shoes to host the Wendy Williams Show ever since.

Bosses confirmed that Sherri would be taking over her time slot in a statement shared earlier this year, with fans concerned over what this meant for the star.
Addressing speculation over her health, Wendy phoned in to Good Morning America to hit back at reports.
She said that she was of sound mind, stating: ‘When people want control of their accounts, they say anything, including something crazy like that about me.
‘They say that I need somebody to handle my account and I don’t want that. I want all my money.
‘I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my entire life. I don’t lie, I don’t cheat and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hardworking person.’
Speaking of her illness, she added: ‘Health is very well. And I’ve actually had a few appointments. You know, I’m 57 now and I have the mind and body of a 25-year-old.
‘This is what I would love to say to my Wendy watchers. Keep watching because I’m going to be back on the Wendy show bigger and brighter than ever.’
