The acclaimed drama is set to draw to a close after its upcoming series, which will see agent Eve Polastri and lethal assassin Villanelle face up against each other for the last time.
At the end of season three, which aired in 2020, the juxtaposing pair vowed never to see each other again… but fans, of course, weren’t convinced by their promise.
While the new official pictures from the upcoming episodes don’t show their reunion, we have no doubt it’s going to be explosive to say the least.
In one of the images, Eve has donned a curious blonde wig, looking stoic while wearing a trenchcoat and sunglasses in front of a bridge in London.
Villanelle, on the other hand, has taken an angelic turn, wearing a white gown while standing in front of what appears to be a holy water font, with wings of an angel visible behind her.

The killer seems to be considering a career change in another photo, her hands held aloft as she wears a red robe and frilled collar while standing in a church.
However, as we know all too well, she is far from innocent.

She appears to be going for a dip in season four, pictured sitting on a bench by an indoor swimming pool.
But given the concerned expression on her face, it’s clear something suspicious is afoot.
While these are the first official pictures released for Killing Eve season four, fans have been able to catch a glimpse of the action that’s going to unfold in the show in the new year.
This summer, Sandra was photographed kissing her co-star Robert Gilbert while filming, hinting at a captivating storyline that could see Eve being pursued by yet another assassin.
The scene also saw Robert, who previously starred in Ready Player One, give Sandra a Chinese restaurant takeaway menu from inside his jacket.
Killing Eve season 4 is due to premiere in 2022, with seasons one to three available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
