The former glamour model took to Twitter following the airing of the film, which gave fans an insight into life with her oldest son Harvey, to thank those watching at home for the ‘incredible feedback’.
Katie also stressed that she wants to ‘continue the conversation’ regarding the struggles parents may face with children who have disabilities.
She tweeted: ‘I wanted to say thank you so much to @bbcone @Minnow_Films and the general public for all your support in the lead up to #HarveyandMe and the incredible feedback tonight.
‘This really has been such an amazing journey for Harvey and myself, and I want to continue the conversation surrounding the difficulties that parents of children with complex needs face, and help parents going through a similar situation.
‘Thank you all so much x.’
In Harvey And Me, audiences saw Katie, 42, and Harvey, 18, on their journey to find him a residential college.
Harvey was born with septic optic dysplasia, a rare disorder that affects brain function, hormones and vision, and affects one in 10,000 births.
He has a long list of medical and behavioural conditions, and his future is unpredictable.
The documentary also showcased the many day to day lives of both Katie and Harvey, with one scene showing the reality star helping to calm her son down as he started panicking about a door banging.

Another scene also saw Katie being warned that Harvey could be sectioned under the Mental Health Act if he’s thought to be a danger to himself or others.
As the documentary was broadcast, viewers flocked to Twitter to praise Katie’s parenting skills and her sheer resilience.
One viewer wrote: ‘What a fabulous mum and mentor Katie Price is, she’s done an amazing job with that young lad.’
Another chimed in: ‘So much respect for your love and commitment for Harvey. What a fantastic mum. People are quick to judge but everyone should watch Harvey And Me and see how dedicated and loving she is xx.’
