On Wednesday on the ITV talk show, Holly, Phillip Schofield and Deidre Sanders received a call from June, a single mum of three children based in Nottingham.
June told them that she has one child in year six and twins in year one, explaining that they have one laptop at home that they collectively use as part of their homeschooling.
The mum, who is dyslexic, added that the other day, she ended up having to write out all of her twins’ work as their printer was not working properly.
She said on the phone call that she was trying her best to keep her children’s schooling ‘fun’ as she doesn’t ‘want them to lose their love for learning’.
However, without a working printer and being the sole person looking after her children, it has been difficult, she added.

Holly and Phillip offered soothing words to June, with Holly telling her that if schooling ‘doesn’t get done one day, it doesn’t matter’, as her ‘job is to love and care for them’.
‘You can’t beat yourself up about this, because there’s only so much you can do,’ Phillip stated.
At first, the presenters suggested that June reach out to fellow parents in her neighbourhood that could help out with her printing needs or find a mums group on Facebook that could provide her with support.
After June revealed that she had contacted her children’s school for assistance – who also said they are experiencing printing issues – Holly offered to send her the piece of equipment herself.
‘Do you know what, I’ve got a spare printer at home. I’m going to bring it in tomorrow. Give us your address. I actually have a spare printer,’ Holly said.
‘Mine broke, I ordered a new one and the other one kicked back into life, and all I keep doing when I’m sitting at my desk is banging my leg on it. You can have that printer.
‘I’ll bring it in tomorrow and you can have it, so that’s sorted your printer out. It’s not much, but it’s a printer.’
June expressed her profuse gratitude towards the presenter, stating: ‘Thank you so much Holly.’
Several This Morning viewers shared their appreciation for Holly’s compassionate deed.
‘Holly offering her old printer to a single mom struggling to home school her 3 kids has pulled on my heart strings,’ one person tweeted.
‘Holly giving her spare printer is so heartening!’ another remarked.
‘She’s saying “that’s alright” all coy – but that lady is trying to home school her child, and that’ll mean the world to her.’
Holly’s appearance on today’s This Morning came after a two-day absence.
On Monday, Phillip told viewers that Holly was taking a ‘couple of days’ extra to be with her family, while Rochelle Humes temporarily took her place on the show.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
