Matthew isn’t the only person who has given an insight into what the cast and crew have been up to for the special over the past week.
Greg Grande – who is the man behind creating Central Perk and Monica’s iconic apartment – shared a snap of the iconic fountain that is used in the opening credits of the show.
His 1,121 followers got the delight of seeing a yellow sofa placed in front of a fountain, with a coffee table placed in front of it with a reserved sign, before he deleted the evidence.
The couch, which could sit three people on it, also had an extra three other chairs placed next to it, making it the perfect space for David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, Jennifer Aniston and Matthew sit back and relax on.

Earlier this month it was revealed that filming for the Friends reunion special would start sometime this week.
The much-anticipated get together was but on hold amid the coronavirus pandemic, but now it looks like the cast have finally start shooting in Los Angeles.
This isn’t the first time that Greg has shared a treat on social media.
Last week fans had their first glimpse of Monica’s restored apartment.

He took to his grid to share a teaser snap of the set and captioned the post: “Ssssh, something’s happening, deja vu… coming alive once again.”
This is great news for Friends fans as the reunion was postponed last year due to Covid-19.
The famous cast were expected to film the HBO Max Special on March 23rd and 24th 2020, but bosses were forced to cancel shooting as the deadly pandemic continued to spread around the world.
Producers were hopeful that filming could take place in May, which would mean it could still premiere on its original scheduled date later in the same month.
