1. Tony and Zara go head-to-head
Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) gets involved in local politics after he learns there’s an opening for a new member of the council.
At The Dog, Tony makes his delight known just as Zara (Kelly Condron) suggests Ollie should set out to get the spot on the council.
But this backfires as Ollie has other ideas.
He is convinced Zara would be a better fit for the job.
Tony, on the other hand, is more doubtful and appears to underestimate Zara’s chances against him.
Little does he know she has a trick up her sleeve to give her an edge.
Soon, Zara challenges him to a public debate.

2. Lisa comes back
Competing for the light, Tony and Zara prepare for their debate.
However, Zara is floored when a familiar and unexpected face comes back to the village.
Gemma Atkinson is set to reprise the role of Lisa this week as her character pays her old school friend a visit.
Lisa hasn’t been seen in Chester since 2006.
And as secrets about her time in Thailand come to light, Lisa has a surprising suggestion for Zara.

3. Warren gets attacked
Chester tough man Warren (Jamie Lomas) is still in pain after his hit-and-run crash back in January.
Determined to keep a brave face, he perpetually challenges himself by focusing on fitness, despite his son Joel’s warnings that he’s pushing himself too hard and putting his health at risk.
Warren continues to ignore him and goes a step further by signing up for the Dee Valley Fight League.
But his eagerness is interrupted when as masked attacker approaches him.
Warren soon plans revenge and heads to the Chen-Williams’ flat.
But a shocking revelation disrupts his plans and he has something to ask from criminal Ethan.

4. Cleo misses out on a declaration
Romance could be in the cards for Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) and Joel (Rory Douglas-Speed).
After a kind gesture for those who may have lost a loved one, Joel finds Cleo at the McQueen household.
The pair share a heart-to-heart – followed by a kiss which could lead to more.
Later on, Cleo is looking for Joel everywhere in the village but he appears to be hiding from her.
Instead of facing Cleo, he gets Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) to cover for him.
When she questions him about everything, Joel reluctantly admits he will always love Cleo.
But will he ever share that with her?

5. Bobby acts out
Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox) continues to cause trouble as the growing influence of his grandfather (and chess partner) serial killer Silas weighs heavily on him.
His mother Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is concerned when he fails his progress test.
Later on, Bobby’s vindictive nature makes a short appearance as he sees his mother flirts with policeman Sam Chen-Williams (Matthew McGivern) who is advertising his boxercise class.


Bobby makes a shocking accusation and things could take a turn for the worse.
