Dermot O’Leary has addressed the rumours that he and Alison Hammond will likely be changing Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Eamonn and Ruth, who commonly current Friday’s instalment of the present, can be replaced by Dermot and Alison.
It’s mentioned that the duo impressed ITV bosses after they teamed as much as current This Morning over the summer time whereas Holly and Phillip had a six-week break.
TV host and radio DJ Dermot has now spoken out in regards to the claims, and defined that whereas he would like to do extra presenting on This Morning, ‘nothing has been confirmed but’.
Addressing the current experiences in an interview with Eire AM on Thursday, Dermot was requested if we had been going to be seeing him extra on This Morning.
‘In fact,’ he replied. ‘I hope so, however such as you mentioned it’s at all times tough when there are colleagues and associates concerned.

‘There’s nothing confirmed but, however , we loved doing the summer time, so we’d love to do extra.’
‘However on the similar time, you don’t need to tread on anybody’s toes or deal with anybody badly,’ he added.
‘So that you’re at all times kind of caught between a rock and a tough place on that kind of stuff.’

It comes after ITV denied reports that Eamonn and Ruth were being pulled from This Morning with a spokesperson telling Metro.co.uk in a press release: ‘We have now a stellar presenting line up on This Morning in Holly and Phillip and Eamonn and Ruth.
‘Any additions to this line up will likely be introduced sooner or later.’
Former This Morning presenter Fern Britton also recently responded to the rumours of Ruth and Eamonn’s ‘axing’ from the ITV present, expressing her shock on Twitter.
After retweeting a narrative about their supposed elimination from their typical slot, Fern tweeted: ‘Oh no?’
Amid the rumours they had been being changed, the couple returned to This Morning on Friday to current the present of their ordinary slot.
The duo have but to reply publicly to the experiences, though throughout an Instagram stay on Monday, Eamonn opened up about how online trolls can ‘get you sacked from TV’.
‘Folks say it’s water off a duck’s again however individuals get up they usually know they will get you sacked … that’s the factor about stay TV,’ he mentioned.
‘They know the right way to get you sacked, they know the right way to do it, they know the right way to go in regards to the strategy of doing it, so clearly it may be very worrying at occasions.’
