CORONATION Street fans are not convinced at how quickly Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) was able to work out Abi Franklin dumped her baby.
The mechanic – who is played by actress Sally Carman in the ITV soap – had no idea she was pregnant before she went into labour while high on drugs.

Giving birth to her son, Abi dumped the baby at the hospital and while others were on the hunt to find who left the newborn, nurse Aggie figured it out before them.
Watching the CCTV footage of the moment the baby is dumped Aggie noticed the mystery person was wearing a red hoodie.
Aggie knew that Abi owned the same red hoodie and was able to piece together the clues.
She confronted Abi and tried to convince her to go to hospital.
In the end it took Abi trying to report her dealer to the police and having to drive out of a locked garage while heavily bleeding for an ambulance to come and save her life.
She was suffering from complications from the birth and was minutes from death.
And in hospital she was convinced to fight for her son.
But when Abi was preparing to be reunited with her son, her hopes were dashed by a social worker.
Devastated Abi begged: “You can’t do that to me.
“I made a mistake – I didn’t know I was pregnant or I would have never got high.
“Just tell me what you want me to do and I’ll do it.”
The social worker insisted they needed to be sure she wouldn’t abandon the child again.
She told Abi she would have to enrol in a rehab programme and involve the father to show she’s stable and has support.
It was too much for Abi and she told the social worker she didn’t want her son anymore before breaking down.
Despite the heartbreaking scenes, viewers watching at home were fixated on how quickly Aggie was able to solve the mystery.
“Bit of a leap. There’s more than one red hoodie in Weatherfield isn’t there?” tweeted one fan.
Another added: “OMG I have a red hoodie ….Thank goodness I don’t live in Manchester! It ain’t my baby, I ain’t your mother Alfie!”
And a third wrote: “Aggie guessing that Abi was the missing mother just from the red hoodie when she didn’t even look pregnant is just ridiculous.”
