Christopher Biggins has shared his ideas on the federal government shutting down pantomimes amid the continuing coronavirus pandemic, labelling it ‘disgusting’.
The panto legend, 72, was disenchanted that pantomimes had been halted when the federal government moved London into tier three at first of December, earlier than placing tier 4 into place over the weekend.
Christopher’s personal run in Jack and the Beanstalk at Dartford’s Orchard Theatre was cancelled as the restrictions came into play.
He advised Good Morning Britain that theatres had put Covid-safe precautions in place: ‘So many pantomimes have been cancelled this yr, together with mine. I used to be going to Dartford.
