The Anchoress has launched a David-Lynch impressed video for brand spanking new monitor, ‘Unravel’ – you’ll be able to watch it under.
Taken from her upcoming second album, ‘The Artwork Of Dropping’ – which can be launched on March 5, 2021 through Kscope – the newest single follows on from earlier launch, ‘Show Your Face’.
Talking concerning the new monitor to NME, The Anchoress – aka Catherine Anne Davies – mentioned: “Unravel is concerning the age-old common lack of love and the journey again to who we’re once we are alone.”
Accompanied by a video that includes the work of New Zealand photographer Lily Warring, the video’s imagery is impressed by David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive.
Talking concerning the recording of the monitor, Davies added: “I locked myself in a cabinet to file the vocal to seize that sense of claustrophobia whenever you really feel as for those who don’t know the place to show”.

Davies additionally revealed how the monitor, which opens with a string quartet, mournful vocals and classic synths, was impressed by The Cure.
