Nandi Bushell, the musical sensation who famously beat Dave Grohl in a drum challenge last year, has shared a brand new track to rejoice the tip of 2020.
Bushell, 10, participated in a collection of back-and-forth musical challenges with the Foo Fighters frontman all through 2020, which supplied some much-needed reduction from the horrors of the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, Bushell has bid farewell within the track to the “actually making an attempt yr/ the world is filled with worry“, earlier than concluding “all we want is love“.
She captioned a video of herself and her relations singing and enjoying the tune on guitars with: “Completely happy New Yr Everybody! I wrote this track for you all and requested my household to jam it with me. I hope it places a smile in your face even when its somewhat tacky! Thanks everybody for supporting me! Love and respect to everybody.”

The new track arrives a few days after her cover of Slipknot’s ‘Unsainted’. Earlier in December, the younger musician shared her first authentic track, ‘Gods and Unicorns’.
Bushell gained fame after being seen by Grohl when her tackle Nirvana‘s ‘In Bloom’ went viral earlier in 2020. Grohl then responded to a challenge posed by Bushell final August wherein the aspiring rocker challenged the 51-year-old to a drum-off by means of a video she posted protecting Foo Fighters’ hit track ‘Everlong’.
Grohl then composed Bushell her own superhero theme, which Bushell then duly responded to, penning ‘Rock and Grohl – The EPIC Battle’.
This led to Grohl admitting defeat in his long-running drum battle with Bushell, and the pair have since agreed to write a new original song together.
