Machine Gun Kelly has praised late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in a brand new interview.
Talking on the Rock This With Allison Hagendorf Spotify podcast, MGK opened up in regards to the state of rock music usually earlier than occurring to reward Cobain’s fearlessness.

On Cobain, Kelly mentioned: “‘Fuck Pearl Jam, I fucking hate them.’ That’s cool! That’s the good factor ever! You’re like, ‘You’ll be able to’t say that, Pearl Jam’s the largest band on this planet! How will you say that?’ However he did,” he mentioned of Cobain’s feedback.
“And guess what I wanna do? Watch him do an interview each single time. Guess what I wanna do? Watch him go on an awards present and so they’re like, ‘You’re gonna play ‘Teen Spirt.” And he’s like, ‘No I’m not, I’m gonna play ‘Rape Me.””
“ what I wanna see? Somebody be like, ‘Machine Gun Kelly, you’re a rapper.’ And I am going, ‘Fuck you, I’m no matter I wanna be. Right here’s a punk rock album.’”
Lately, MGK teamed up with Yungblud and Travis Barker on a new collaborative track, ‘acting like that’.
The collaboration comes from Yungblud’s second album ‘Weird!’, which arrived yesterday (December 4).
“‘Appearing like that’ is a results of what occurs when me, mgk and travis get collectively, the power’s electrical and we write songs that amplify a sense,” Yungblud defined.
He added: “This tune radiates simply going fucking nuts at your favorite present, a sense that all of us want proper now. this tune is about dropping management and feeling free together with your finest fucking mates.”
