Ganxsta Ridd of the California rap group Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. has died after succumbing to the coronavirus.
The dying of the Samoan-American rapper, who had labored with the likes of Eminem, Cypress Hill‘s B-Real and Faith No More, was confirmed yesterday (December 5) by pal and fellow rapper Ice-T.
“I simply woke as much as the Horrible information,” Ice-T tweeted. “My very shut homie ‘Gangsta Rid’ of Boo-Yaa Tribe handed away yesterday from Covid… So unhappy. My love and condolences exit to the household.”

Born within the Los Angeles suburb of Carson, Ridd (actual title Paul Devoux) shaped the Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. within the late ’80s alongside together with his brothers Vincent, Donald, Danny, Ted, David and Roscoe Devoux.
They launched their debut album ‘New Funky Nation’ in 1990, which mixed rap and reside instrumentation, which was one thing probably not being achieved on the time.
