Sophie Turner was every inch the proud wife as husband Joe Jonas confirmed his next role in a blockbuster war movie.
The Jonas Brothers singer has been cast in Devotion, a Korean War drama from Sony Pictures directed by JD Dillard and also starring Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick), Jonathan Majors (Da 5 Bloods) and Thomas Sadoski (John Wick: Chapter 2).
Christina Jackson, best known for The Outsiders and The Good Fight, has been cast as the female lead.
Celebrating the news, Joe, 31, wrote in an Instagram post: ‘Let’s get it!! Can’t wait to start filming ✈️ #Devotion @glenpowell @jgdillard.’
His brother Nick Jonas congratulated him on the new gig and commented: ‘Let’s get it! ??.’
Nick’s actress wife Priyanka Chopra also shared the announcement in her Instagram stories and wrote: ‘Wohhooo let’s get it!! @nickjonas,’ with a heart emoji.
However, perhaps nobody was more excited than Joe’s wife, Game of Thrones actress Sophie, who wrote in her own post: ‘Das my babyyy,’ alongside a ‘yes!’ gif.

The couple tied the knot in 2019 and share one daughter, reportedly named Willa, who was born in July last year.
Devotion is based on the best-selling book by Adam Makos, Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship and Sacrifice.
The film will follow two US Navy fighter pilots, Jesse Brown (Majors) and Tom Hudner (Powell), from different worlds. The pair are initiated together into the VF-32 squadron and pushed to their limits, testing and flying a new design of fighter jet but their friendship is eventually tested when one of them is shot down behind enemy lines.
It’s the first feature length acting role in Joe’s career so far – he voiced characters in 2009’s Night At The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and 2018’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.
However, his TV credits are far more extensive with roles in Camp Rock, Grease Live and Home Movie: The Princess Bride.
There might be more exciting news elsewhere in the Jonas Brothers camp as Nick, 28, is reportedly in talks to portray Frankie Valli in the streaming version of the Jersey Boys musical. It follow on from his previous acting credits in the latest blockbuster Jumani series as well as Goat and Midway.
A release date for Devotion is yet to be announced.
