A group of middle-aged swingers who were attending a secret sex party have been arrested for breaking coronavirus restrictions.
The ‘adults only’ party was being held in a warehouse in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday and was attended by around 100 tightly-packed people.
A police raid brought the illegal event to a halt and when inside officers uncovered beds, lounge chairs, dance poles and cages placed on pedestals.

It comes as the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Superspreader Task Force is conducting a massive crackdown on Covid rulebreakers amid surging cases in California.
Cops arrested a total of 182 people at two separate locations on Saturday – including ‘middle-aged’ guests at the sex party who were dressed in heels, dresses and suits.
Officers busted the underground party by shouting on speakers from their squad cars, ‘the party’s over’.
The other police raid took place in downtown Los Angeles and involved young adults dressed in hoodies, crop tops and casual street clothes, according to police.
Both events violated California’s strict lockdown rules which ban citizens from leaving home except for permitted work, local shopping and errands. People are also discouraged from meeting with other households at all.
Photos taken by police at both illegal events show that most people were not observing social distancing.
Speaking of the raids, Los Angeles County Police captain, Holly Francisco, said; ‘Once we confirmed that people were at this location we responded and detained probably close to 200 people’, reports Fox11.
Two people were arrested on suspicion of promoting the events, while another 180 were arrested for violating health orders, the department said.

The police task force’s crackdown comes as California continues to struggle to contain the coronavirus. More than 2.7million cases and over 30,000 deaths have been recorded in the state since the start of the pandemic. In Los Angeles County as a whole, there are currently 932,697 active virus cases and a person dies every eight minutes from Covid.
So far during the pandemic 23.1 million cases detected in the US and 384,784 people have sadly lost their lives. Tuesday was the worst single day for deaths yet, with 4,300 fatalities.
