A job advert has been put out to find a personal assistant for the Duchess of Cambridge.
The position was listed on the business networking social media site LinkedIn three days ago and more than 200 people have applied.
The vacancy for personal assistant to Kate Middleton’s assistant private secretary was posted by the Household of TRH the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The job summary reads: ‘This is an exciting opportunity to join our PA team in support of the assistant private secretary to HRH the Duchess of Cambridge.
‘This role will provide wide-ranging administrative and operational support to the assistant private secretary.’
The job will be based at Kensington Palace, is permanent and offers a full-time contract with 37.5 hours of work per week. The salary is £27,500 a year.
Responsibilities of the position will include managing the secretary’s diary, arranging meetings, organising travel, taking minutes and providing support for royal events and visits.
A successful candidate must have previous secretarial and administrative experience, excellent IT skills, excellent interpersonal skills and good at organisation.

It also requires candidates to have an ‘ability to exercise tact and discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times’ and ‘knowledge of the diversity of communities in the United Kingdom, in the Commonwealth and worldwide’.
The advert adds the household of the duke and duchess will support their charitable work.
The job’s person specification reads: ‘The Household believes that the diversity of modern society is its greatest asset.
