A COUPLE claim their urine soaked council accommodation has left them struggling to breathe and the local authority doesn’t care.
Sarah Keenan and her disabled partner say they are also battling flea bites and a soaking mattress in the hellish temporary accommodation.

To top it off, the flat in Tencreek, Looe – which has been provided by Cornwall Council – is said to absolutely stink.
Things have got so bad that the pair have been forced to sleep on a mattress on the lounge floor.
Sarah told Cornwall Live: “It really is awful. The property is flea-ridden, the settee is broken in half, the toilet is disgusting, the bed is black with body fluid and the stench is foul.
“The bed is horrible and stained with urine and sweat.”
She added how her disabled partner suffers with mental health and the dire conditions are “just making it worse”.
He is severely epileptic and the disgusting conditions are now making his fits even worse.
Desperate Sarah explained how she ended up in the vile flat after her landlord sold the privately rented property she used to live in.
Since then she claims “nobody can seem to help” and despite numerous calls to the council – she can see no end to her horrific ordeal.
The furious resident added: “I’m struggling to breathe here.
“It is so bad here my daughter came to stay but has since gone back with my mother in law as she just can’t stay here.”
She now worries how long she will be stuck in the accommodation and has pleaded that the pair “can’t go on living like this”.
The Sun Online has contacted Cornwall Council over the temporary accommodation.
