A disgusted Tesco shopper found gruesome-looking grime beneath a shelf used for stocking meat objects in a superstore.
Nigel Fenwick determined to take a better have a look at what seemed to be congealed mess under an empty rack for minced beef.
His daughter, Sarah, later posted the picture on Tesco’s Fb web page, claiming the fridges had been later turned again on with out having been cleaned and with objects overlaying up the vents.
However Tesco stated at the moment that the spillage had been cleaned ‘instantly’ and that the cleanliness of shops is a prime precedence.
Sarah stated her dad observed the mess whereas he was buying on the retail large’s superstore in Sevenoaks, Kent, on November 17.
She stated: ‘They stated it was a upkeep situation. The supervisor didn’t appear to care and the fridges had been turned again on with out being cleaned.
‘They’d merely put merchandise over the vents to cover the mess under.’

Sarah later posted the image on Tesco’s Fb web page with the caption: ‘Be warned anybody buying at Tesco Sevenoaks.
‘Supervisor was made conscious of this and inside 24 hours.
‘The fridges had been turned straight again on and meals was packed over the grills to try to cowl it up.’
Nonetheless the Tesco retailer did later take motion, Sarah advised Metro.co.uk.
