TESCO shoppers can get their hands on FREE chocolate Easter treats including Creme Eggs and Maltesers bunnies.
But the catch is that they’ll need a ‘secret’ coupon to claim.

Bargain hunters shared the freebie giveaway on hotukdeals.
One user explained how you’d be able to snag the chocolate fix if you are Tesco Clubcard customer.
“Check the coupon area via your Tesco Clubcard account,” they said. “Any egg or bunny up to the value of 50p is on offer.”
Shoppers can get a free Creme Egg, Oreo, Caramel, Lindt, Hershey’s, Mini Egg, Maltesers, Reese’s, Milkybar, KitKat & Smarties egg from the supermarket if they’ve got the offer code loaded onto their account.
The coupon means you’ll only be eligible to claim one though, so choose your flavour wisely.
It’s also a bit of pot luck, and not everybody has seen the offer pop up on their Clubcard.
Other users commented under the post to praise the giveaway, but some also revealed that they hadn’t had quite the same luck bagging a freebie of their own.
“Free choc yummy,” one said.
While another said: “Thanks – this deal isn’t on my card, but I did find a £7 off voucher with a spend of £70, so I’ll let Tesco off.”
A third said: “I didn’t even realise this coupon section existed. Great deal though.”
How to claim a free Creme Egg at Tesco
First you’ll need to make sure you have a Tesco Clubcard account – it’s free to sign up and you can start cashing-in on benefits straight away.
You’ll want to check the Offers and Coupons sections for this freebie though.
If you’re lucky enough to be sent it, it should be sat waiting for you, ready to use either online or instore.
In-store you’ll have to scan your coupon at the checkout, or type in the code when you reach your online basket, to claim the free egg or bunny.
Remember stock will be subject to availability though, and with chocolate cravings nigh this close to Easter, all your favourite flavours could sell out fast.
You also need to factor in delivery charges which can start from £2, and minimum basket fees that also apply if you don’t spend at least £40.
Perks of Tesco’s Clubcard
It’s free to get one and you can have a virtual version or a physical card if you prefer.
Just sign up online and you can start cashing-in on discounts and loyalty offers right away.
But it’s not only the immediate discounts you can get in-store and online that come with the Clubcard.
As part of its loyalty scheme you collect one point for every £1 spent in store and online, and one for every £2 spent on fuel.
Then, one point is worth 1p of a future shop in Tesco – so you can earn money-off vouchers after you’ve racked up enough.
You can also trade them in for three times the value with Tesco’s reward partners, such as Hungry Horse pub or Cineworld.
Deals can vary between shoppers, and it can depend on how often you shop and how long you’ve been a member as to what pops up on your account.
Another savvy shopper has shared the easy way to get even bigger reductions at Tesco.
The supermarket is closed on Easter Sunday though, so don’t leave it until the day to bag your freebies or last minute bargains.
