We have contacted Morrisons to see if this large reduced section is a new addition to all stores and will update this story when we hear back.
These Morrisons shoppers have clearly hit the jackpot when it comes to finding reduced products.
It always pays to compare reduced prices across supermarkets, so you know you’re getting the best deal.
Prices can also vary day to day depending what offers are on at the time, and depending on what each store has in stock.
Just because one shopper has found a good deal doesn’t mean your store will have the same.
What can you find in reduced sections?
Shops will reduce prices on various items for various reasons, like if they’re trying to clear stock.
Which can see prices decrease by over £20, for example, Tesco has been clearing toys just in time for Christmas.
They will also often reduce the price of food nearing its use by date to shift stock and avoid food wastage.
The food is usually still good to eat but do check the dates, and in some cases you can freeze what you buy so it will last that bit longer too.
But most importantly, you can often score a hefty discount – with some items marked down by as much as 80%.
Where can you find reduced sections?
You’ll normally find the goodies confined to their own shelf, in the bargain corner, or “sin bin” as many shoppers have dubbed it.
But a common theme in any store means each product will have the yellow sticker slapped on it, telling you its new reduced price.
Recently, Tesco announced it was making a huge change to its yellow sticker bargains.
Under new plans, the supermarket is rebranding its reduced to clear areas, where discounted yellow stickers are normally found.
They will now be called “reduced in price – just as nice” and a sign will be placed above the shelves so shoppers can easily spot the deals.
