Notice anything strange about this Edgware Road flat?
We’ll give you a clue: how do you enter?
Rather than a traditional front door, this property has an elevated window that looks out onto a parking space – plus a set of stairs to help you clamber through.
The studio flat has gone on the market for £750 a month.
For this cost (bills not included), you could live in a property that you can only enter by descending through a window and walking down four steps.
The ‘family friendly’ one-room space, marketed by OpenRent, also features a bathroom, sink, microwave and maroon carpet.
According to the listing on Rightmove, which has since been removed, the flat has been available to move into from June 3, owing to changes being made to the kitchen area.
The listing noted that no students, pets or smokers are allowed, and the maximum amount of tenants they’ll accept is two.

The ‘newly built’ flat is located behind some shops, 0.6 miles away from Colindale Station.
There’s parking available, and the flat was being offered furnished or unfurnished, although the only visible furnishing in the photos is a desk.
An iteration of the listing was shared in the CasualUK subreddit, where commenters were less than enthused.

One wrote: ‘En suite kitchen, and a broom cupboard you can ‘s**t in, it’s got everything!’
Another commented: ‘Christ, that’s literally just a room lmao’, to which they got a reply that read: ‘You’re new to the London rental market, I see.’
