IF dry shampoo isn’t enough to keep you from washing your hair too frequently, then adding in texture spray as well could be the answer you need.
Beauty fan Amrita took to TikTok to reveal she swears by the combination of the two sprays when it comes to keeping her locks grease-free and flawless for a good few days.

“Stop what you’re doing – forget everything you know about dry shampoo and just listen to me,” she began.
“My hair is on fifth day hair, it’s about to go onto sixth day hair, and this is how it’s looking.”
Admitting her hair is “super super oily” normally, Amrita showcased a perfect bob with no grease to be seen.
“I know everyone knows the whole dry shampoo thing and using dry shampoo to make it last longer so it’s not oily,” she said.
“But what you’ve really got to do is add a texture spray. I’m telling you, it changes your entire hair game. Trust me just do it.”
For dry shampoo, Amrita likes the Living Proof Advanced spray and the Amika Perk Up dry shampoo.
She also uses Amika’s texture spray too.
“All you need to do is apply your dry shampoo like normal, let it sit and apply your texture spray at the same time,” she added.
Demonstrating where she applies the sprays, Amrita lifted up a centre section of hair and pointed down each side and underneath her crown.
“Leave it alone, with your texture spray, as long as you can,” she said.

“I like to leave it for about 10 minutes, or as long as I possibly can while I do my make-up.”
She concluded her video by smiling: “Literally shake it out and your hair should look like this for days.”
Among the comments on the video was one from a hairstylist, who wrote: “Please make sure you’re utilising a clarifying shampoo in your wash cycle to clean the build up from all these products.”
And Amrita replied: “FACTS!!! Say it louder!! This is exactly why I only use this when I really need it and I use a clarifying shampoo for build up!!”
