COMPULSION is a brand new Channel 5 drama which is set to have the nation hooked.
The mini-series – which follows a paramedic who after a fatal train crash develops a gambling addiction to try to cope with her PTSD – brings with it an all-star cast.

Who is in the cast of Compulsion?
Leanne Best as Jenny Challoner
Compulsion follows the life of a paramedic named Jenny who winds up developing a gambling addition after a fatal train crash to try to cope with her PTSD.
Speaking about her character, she told whattowatch.com: “She’s a pretty confident paramedic and mum, until a tragic incident happens, which triggers a set of post trauma-related behaviours that start to have a really negative affect on her personal life.
“At its heart, the story explores the universal themes of friendship, family, love, loss and trauma and what happens to ordinary people who are struggling in extraordinary circumstances.”
Anna Chancellor as Sasha
A woman called Sasha, played by Anna Chancellor, offers to help Jenny out of the situation but, has an agenda of her own
Actress Anna shot to fame as Duck Face in Four Weddings And A Funeral, and after that the roles poured in.
She is also known for dramas such as BritBox’s Hotel Portofino, BBC’s The Split, and HBO’s Pennyworth.
Hayley Mills as Connie Bertram
Hayley Mills plays loan shark Connie Bertram who holds Jenny’s fate in her hands.
Actress Hayley shot to fame as a Disney child star in the 60s, appearing in films like such as Pollyanna, The Parent Trap, and That Darn Cat!.
She starred in BBC1’s Moving On and also appeared in Sky movie Last Train To Christmas.
Her son Crispin Mills is the lead singer of 90s Indie band Kula Shaker.
Danny Ashok as Chris
Actor Danny Ashok takes on the role of one of Jenny’s paramedic colleagues called Chris.
You might recognise him from other dramas such as Sky’s Cobra and BBC’s One’s Strike.
In 202 he starred alongside Hugh Laurie in Roadkill.
Krissi Bohn as Ali
Actress Krissi Bohn returns to TV playing Ali in this new Channel 5 drama.
Aside from Compulsion she is best known for starring in Coronation Street from 2012 to 22014 playing Jenna Kamara.
In 2020 Krissi starred in ITV’s hit drama, Innocent.
When is Compulsion on TV?
Compulsion was written by Sarah Deane and directed by Noreen Kershaw.
The thriller consists of four episodes which will air over four consecutive nights beginning TONIGHT (April 12, 2022), on Channel 5 at 9pm.
It will draw to a close on Good Friday – April 15, 2022.
