PIERS Morgan hit back at trolls accusing him of blagging a freebie to Antigua by telling them “I paid full whack”.
The columnist and presenter, 56, has been relaxing at the luxury Jumby Bay Resort with his sons Spencer, Bertie and Stanley.

To mark the end of their annual Caribbean trip, Piers shared a then and now snap of his sons in the same spot years apart.
He wrote: “How it started…. How it’s growing…
“Thanks to all the brilliant staff at @jumbybayresort for another wonderful holiday. Really is a very special place run by very special people.
“My sons and I go there most years for our annual ‘lads holiday’ and love Jumby like a second home because that’s how everyone who works there makes us (and every other guest) feel.”
And taking aim at his detractors, he signed off: “ps Relax, trolls, I paid full whack….I just give them lots of Insta love because they deserve it.”
The former Good Morning Britain host abandoned his usual smart, clean-shaven look on the holiday in favour of a more rugged style.
His new beard had fans comparing him to Michael Sheen and Tom Hanks in Castaway, while Piers described himself as a “beach bum”.
Piers’s wife Celia stayed at home in West London while the boys were away, but she commented that the time had flown by.
The Jumby Bay Resort is popular with the likes of footballer Lionel Messi and Paul McCartney, and it’s top suite costs an eye-watering $3,334 a night.
Guests can enjoy white sandy beaches, lush gardens, fine dining and a relaxing spa.
