WE might have just three weeks left until the big day – but our Christmas prep began weeks ago.
No, we’re not talking about getting a head start on the food shop or wrapping – but rather, dropping some not-so-subtle hints in front of our other half.

But this year, TikToker Claire Marie and her boyfriend decided to take a different approach.
In a viral video that’s racked up almost 250k views, Claire explained how her partner wanted to buy her a present with “no help” this year.
Naturally, the bloke thought he’d really nailed his present and felt confident enough to turn away any of Claire’s suggestions.
She wrote: “He was so excited and waited weeks for it to arrive.”
But sadly, it was only when the gift turned up on their doorstep that Claire’s boyfriend realised his mistake.
When he placed the order weeks ago, the thoughtful lad thought he was buying a pair of personalised tan Nike trainers for his girlfriend.
But we can only imagine how much he’s regretting not double checking all the details before pressing the purchase button – as it turns out, they were actually BABY-sized.
And as he’d had them personalised, the poor bloke couldn’t get his money back.
Luckily for him, Claire found the whole thing hilarious and appreciated the thought that went into the gift.
She captioned the clip: “Dying!! Bless his heart for trying.”

Needless to say, the video left viewers in hysterics – while others thought he might be trying to drop a hint.
One replied: “Well you know what you need to do so they don’t go to waste.”
Another joked: “He’s trying to tell you something…”
“MIND DID THE EXACT SAME THING,” a third wrote. “We ended up putting them on the teddy bear.”
