There’s everything you need for a post-fast feast (Picture: Morrisons)
Throughout the pandemic, Morrisons has launched a number of food boxes to cater to different needs.
From afternoon tea boxes for VE day to self isolation kits, they’ve been a lifeline for people stuck indoors when delivery slots were hard to come by.
The supermarket has now announced the return of their Ramadan Essentials box for 2021, following the success of it when it was released last year.
Ramadan begins on April 12 this year, and involves Muslims fasting during daylight hours, eating and drinking between when the sun sets and rises.
The box, which costs £33, is delivered to your door during a one-hour slot, and contains a number of ingredients to make meals for breaking the fast.
Meat included in the pack is halal, and there are marinades, juices, cupboard staples, and side dishes for a feast.
Customers will get a complimentary pack of dates with their box, as well as a large bottle of mango lassi.
Noor Ali, World Foods Buying Manager at Morrisons said: ‘Many of our customers are still choosing to shop online, whether for convenience or because they are still shielding.
‘Our Ramadan Essentials Box contains products we know our customers love and will help them create tasty dishes throughout the month of Ramadan.’
Here’s everything in the box:
- The Clay Oven Bakery Plain Naan Bread 300g
- KTC Chick Peas 400g
