We all want to make our mums feel special for Mother’s Day – and nothing says ‘love’ like breakfast in bed.
To make this kind gesture really easy to pull off without a hitch, Morrisons is offering a ‘Breakfast in Bed’ box that can be delivered right to your door in time for Mother’s Day.
The limited-edition food box is full of luxurious food and drink items designed to make Mum (or Grandma) feel like a queen.
The box will cost you £20 including delivery, and inside you’ll find everything you need to create the ultimate brunch for mum.
Delicious treats include Morrisons thick and fluffy buttermilk pancakes made with free range eggs, ready to be stacked with British bacon and a drizzle of 100% Pure Canadian maple syrup. Or rustle up a posh sausage sandwich with Morrisons British Sausages and slices of seeded bread. All washed down with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
And for mums with a sweet tooth, there’s even Morrisons white chocolate cookies – perfect with a cup of Morrisons The Best English breakfast tea.
If you can’t be with mum on Mother’s Day because of the lockdown restrictions, you could get a box sent directly to her door. That way she will have everything she needs to make herself a gorgeous fancy breakfast, and you could video call her to enjoy the morning together.
‘We know this Mother’s Day will be very different for many, so we wanted to create a food box that helps customers show their mum just how special she is,’ says Aidan Buckley, Food Boxes and Eat Fresh Director at Morrisons.
‘So whether people are at home with mum, or sending her a box ready for a Mother’s Day video call, we hope these tasty treats bring a much deserved smile to her face.’
The Breakfast in Bed Box is available to pre-order on the Morrisons food boxes website now. Delivery by courier is included in the price shown and customers can order to receive their boxes on the March 12th or 13th.
