We really are spoilt for choice when it comes to sweet treats this summer.
On the frozen side of things, there’s the new cocktail-flavoured ice creams from Häagen-Dazs – available in Lime Mojito and Piña Colada.
Whereas in the world of booze, there’s a new raspberry and redcurrant flavour from Pimm’s, as well as an Aldi salted caramel liqueur that tastes like Lotus Biscoff.
Our summer picnics and garden parties will be bursting with delights.
But now Krispy Kreme is jumping on the bandwagon and has unveiled two new mouth-watering doughnuts, as part of its Colours of Summer range.
The chain’s two zesty additions are called Passionfruit Party and Raspberry Lemonade.
The raspberry variety is made up of Krispy Kreme’s signature ring doughnut with a tangy raspberry lemonade filling and scattered with crunchy sugar pieces.
Whereas the other is also made up of the classic ring, but has an exotic passion fruit filling – along with vibrant sugar pieces as well as yellow and green icing.
There’s no denying that these would be perfect for a picnics when the weather gets a little warmer.
Both are priced at £2.25 and are available now in stores, via Click & Serve and through the brand’s nationwide delivery.
According to the Krispy Kreme UK Instagram account, the newbies also feature in an offer currently running at Tesco – where customers can get £1 off a three-pack of doughnuts.
And it’s safe to say the new fruity flavours have gone down a treat.
One person replied to the post saying: ‘Loved trying mine yesterday.’
While another added: ‘I’ve had both of the new donuts and my favourite is raspberry lemonade.’
So many new snacks to try this year.
