JAMIE O’Hara thought about driving his car into a wall when his marriage and football career crumbled.

Jamie, 34, revealed: “There was times when I used to drive to training at Wolves and I weren’t allowed into the training ground until it was like three o’clock.
“And I was going through divorce and I had no support, everyone hated me round the Wolves area, and there were times when I just wanted to drive into a wall, there really was.
“It was terrible for me really because I’ve always just wanted to be liked, that’s my character.
“I just wanted people to enjoy my company and just enjoy me playing football.

YOU’RE NOT ALONE
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide.
It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.
If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:
“That’s all I ever wanted to do and that period of my life was just a disaster and in the end I just needed to get away from it all and kind of find some happiness again.”
The ex-Spurs ace signed for Wolves in 2011 and wed former Miss England Danielle Lloyd, who he has three boys with, a year later.
But by 2014 he was on his way out of the club and the same year his wife announced she had filed for a divorce.
He said: “In the end, I got to the point where, I’ve done this for 15 years, since I was 16 really, I got to 30, 31 and I just thought I can’t take any more rejection.

“I can’t take any more building myself up to think, ‘I might be able to do it, I might be able to get there’.
“And I just wanted to get away from it all. I just wanted to get away from it, I just needed to get away from football because it was just mentally killing me.
“And then I was going through divorce, I was going through personal issues and in the end I just thought, ‘I need to get away from football and get away from feeling like I’m not good enough.’
“Because otherwise, I’m going to do something I regret.”
Celebrity Big Brother star Jamie, who most recently played for Billericay Town, told the Wolf Whistle podcast that after a six month break, meeting his fiancée Elizabeth-Jayne Tierney got him back on his feet.
He added: “I met her and she really helped me. She built me back up, she gave me confidence, she believed in me, she stuck by me through when I was going through bad moments.
“And then I kind of come out of that the other side and started believing and then I realised my life is football.”
