Danny and fiancee Steph welcomed baby Albert in October
On Monday, Danny, 30, was seen sobbing as new-found friend and former footballer David Ginola read a letter from Steph Jones and his baby son Albert.
After being reduced to tears by the sweet words, the soap actor cried all over David, 54, as they came together for an emotional embrace.
“I’m proud of you, it was beautiful,” David told Danny as they hugged, with tears rolling down both their faces. “They love you so much.”
Now, his pal and reality TV star Scott – who rose to fame on ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2018 – has heaped praise on Danny for showing his soft side.
Scott told The Sun at the TRIC Christmas Lunch: “Danny is amazing. He’s a big character, but a big character in his own unique way.
“It’s tough at times because of the environment. There’s been tension between David Ginola and Naughty Boy. They’re getting hangry.”
He gushed that the star was doing him, their friends and his family “so proud” in Gwrych Castle thanks to showing his softer side.
“Danny is doing us all so proud in there. I like that he’s showing his emotional side too,” Scott added. “He’s got that side to him which is really important to show.”
Luckily for Danny, his best pal doesn’t appear to have any jealously over his growing friendship with Newcastle United player David Ginola.
“His bromance with David Ginola is amazing,” Scott went on. “That’s his childhood hero, so to be able to bond with him like that is incredible.”
It comes days after Scott was discovered to be behind the plane prank that saw a supportive message flown high above Gwrych Castle.
It was inspired by a similar stunt carried out by PrettyLittleThing boss Umar Kamani for his pal, and Scott’s brother, Ryan Thomas when he was in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
A source said: “Scott loves a stunt and is always game for a laugh. He wanted to to lift Danny’s spirits and let him know how well he’s doing and how much everyone loves him. It was all good harmless fun.”
The show’s production crew were thrown into a panic after spotting the huge banner that said “Danny Miller to win”.
Crew members herded the celebs back inside to avoid them seeing the sign.
It comes after Emmerdale star Danny and his fiancee Steph welcomed their first child, baby boy Albert, in October after a year of IVF treatment.
