ED Sheeran has launched his first single – one 12 months after asserting a hiatus from music.
The 29-year-old singer thrilled followers with Afterglow, which was shared on his social media web page this morning.

He’d teased the release yesterday, promising followers a “Christmas current” within the cryptic submit.
Sharing a photograph of the monitor’s scribbled, multi-coloured art work, Ed merely wrote: “11am GMT tomorrow. A Christmas current.”
