What are the rules of the show?
Don’t Forget the Lyrics is a game show hosted on the Fox network.
Contestants have a total of nine categories of songs to sing from, Decider reports.
Each contestant must pick two songs to sing, which they sing karaoke style.
There is a screen helping the contest along before it begins to have blanks.

It is up to the contestant to fill in the blanks of the missing lyrics.
The host, Niecy Nash, can help them along by telling them the number of words in the lyrics the contestant is missing.
Along with the host’s help, the contestant can also have a “backup singer” such as a family member or friend to help them.
They also receive up to three words to use at a time when they need them.
Once they lock in the lyrics and if they get them correct, the contestant can move up the money ladder.
What does the winner receive?
If the contestant locks in the lyric correctly, they will win the grand prize ranging from $25,000 to $1million.
The tenth category is the $1million prize spot.
Don’t Forget the Lyrics is said to be a combination of the shows Name That Tune and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
