POLICE and the district lawyer’s workplace in New York Metropolis are investigating a confrontation by which a white girl accused a black teen of stealing her iPhone within the foyer of an upscale lodge.
The New York Police Division is probing a harassment grievance from the incident on Saturday afternoon contained in the Arlo Lodge in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, a spokesperson for the company advised New York Magazine on Monday.

Jazz musician Keyon Harrold recorded a video that he posted on Instagram, of an unidentified younger girl accusing his 14-year-old son of stealing her cellphone.
The girl is captured screaming at Harrold’s son and demanding that the lodge supervisor take the teenager’s cellphone away from him.
“Take the case off that’s mine, actually get it again,” the girl tells the supervisor.
Harrold replies: “You suppose there’s just one iPhone made on this planet?”

As Harrold and his son appeared to attempt to stroll away, the girl allegedly lunged at them and after a scuffle, she is seen on the bottom.
“No, please get my cellphone again,” the girl pleads to the supervisor, who helps her up.
Harrold wrote on Instagram on Sunday that the lodge knowledgeable him that an Uber driver dropped off the girl’s cellphone shortly after the confrontation.
“No apology from her after this traumatic state of affairs to my son, not me. No apologies from the institution,” Harrold mentioned.

“This s*** occurs so usually. It must cease!!!”
Harrold’s video went viral over the weekend and the girl is being referred to as a “Karen,” the title given to a white girl who accused of utilizing racial privilege over others.
The Manhattan district lawyer’s workplace advised New York Journal that it’s also investigating the incident.
Harrold’s lawyer, Ben Crump, tweeted that they need the district lawyer’s workplace to press assault and battery fees on the girl who “falsely accused” {the teenager} of stealing her cellphone.

“Be a part of us in sending a transparent message that hateful, racially motivated conduct is unacceptable,” Crump wrote.
“E mail Manhattan DA Cy Vance Jr. and urge him to cost the girl who attacked Keyon Harrold Jr.”
Instagram consumer Cassandra Medina, who posted a photograph on the lodge six days in the past, denies being the “Karen” in Harrold’s video.
“I’ve been tagged all morning on this video and this isn’t me,” Medina wrote on Instagram on Sunday.
“It’s not OK to be falsely accused on social media and I wouldn’t need that taking place to anybody.”
Harrold is a Grammy Award-winning trumpet participant who has performed with artists together with Beyoncé, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z.
