Regé-Jean’s castmate Adjoa Andoh expressed her opinion on the matter to Good Morning Britain hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, saying he would be a “marvelous Bond” if chosen for the role.
“The thing with Regé is that he’s beautiful – don’t tell him I said that! – he’s beautiful, he’s very smart.
“He’s a fantastically funny, sharp actor, so he could take on any role you give him really, annoyingly.
“So yes, he’d be a marvelous Bond if they ever decided to go that way – no doubt at all.”

Regé has further fueled speculation as he has refused to deny that he was offered the spot.
During a quiz on The Graham Norton Show last week, he insisted that he would not be speaking about the “B” word.
“Bridgerton is the only ‘B” word I am allowed to say – I am not going to talk about the other ‘B’ words!” he urged.
Many fans support the decision, as one wrote: “We need Rege-Jean Page to be the next Bond, he’s set for stardom,” and a second agreed: “He would make a great Bond, he was so gorgeous in Bridgerton.”

This past September it was revealed that the 007 film No Time To Die will be Daniel Craig’s last stint in the role.
The producer Barbara Broccoli has shared that the picture will be a “culmination” of all five movies in which the actor has starred.
“There’s a few lines that are in the script that Bond fans will love from the books and some wonderful locations that are described in the books.

“We consider this film to be a classic Bond film but with a modern twist.
“It’s also vitally important because it is the fifth and final one that Daniel Craig is going to be doing, so it’s a culmination of everything his portrayal of the character has been through and it ties up all the storylines. “It’s a pretty epic film, I have to say,” she revealed.
The movie is set to release on April 2nd.
