MESSING up your fake tan is one of the most embarrassing beauty blunders out there – and it certainly isn’t something you want to worry about on your wedding day.
So when a group of wedding shamers thought they had spotted an epic tanning fail on the chest of a bride, they didn’t hold back.

But as it turns out, the woman hadn’t actually messed up her self-tanner at all – the orange line across her chest was actually part of her wedding gown’s unusual design.
A photo of the dress, which features a traditional white gown with a flesh-coloured panel of detail on the chest, was shared on a wedding shaming Facebook group.
Sharing a snap of the offending dress to the Facebook group That’s It, I’m Wedding Shaming, one woman wrote: “Random Instagram photo – that mesh on the neckline and the fact she’s holding a bunch of spinach?!”
The post has since gained 1,100 likes, with many people flocking to the comments section to poke fun at the gown’s unusual detail.

One person said: “I thought she got a bad spray tan,” while someone else replied, “I was thinking, HOW did she get a reverse tan line?!”
Another woman simply commented: “Damn that mesh. Damn it to hell. Looks like someone just cut it that morning,.”
Meanwhile a fourth person chimed in, berating the gown’s daring neckline.
“Sometimes what you cannot see is more alluring than what you can. This is one of those times,” said one.
Other wedding shamers also took issue with the bride’s unique choice of bouquet.
“She’s holding an ivy plant. Hmm.. okay,” one said.
Somebody else added: “That’s a plant from Home Depot.”
But not everyone was negative about the bride’s choice in wedding dress.
Some rushed to her defence, pointing out that the nude coloured mesh banner was probably necessary to keep the dress from slipping down.
One person said: “Mesh is honestly necessary to hold a dress like this up considering that deep V has very little support.”
